Welcome
Within the privacy and safety of your own life, may reading these poems provide you with fresh ideas, different perspectives, a lovingly grateful, deeply peaceful, *deeplyer change from within.
*Deeplyer is a word I created. It means ‘where words don’t go’.

Thank you for being here.
You’re worth it.
Much Love, Deb
Within this calm and peaceful space
while reading these poems in the privacy of your life, you will meet and experience new and fresh and often challenging ideas,
and here there is a supportive boost up on strengthening your empathy, your fairness and your critical thinking, at your own pace.
My poems about problem solving.
They are about making things better – not worse.
Benefits of Empathy
Experience being able to change your mind about anyone, by imagining being them. This is of benefit to you. It has many benefits, including, not being shunned or kicked out of the house, the marriage, and the job. Empathy can help keep you from being sued, placed into a prison, maimed and murdered.
Empathy helps buffer and soothe unconscious death anxiety, for all involved in any conflict.
——-
This is predictably where many readers stop reading. The word ’death’ triggers the brain to RUN!
When feeling brave, and ready to continue on your journey here, read on.
It will help to be well rested and well fed when continually. The journey will often feel claustrophobic and sort of out of control. This is expected.
A kindly reminder is to do deep and slow belly breathing while here, and anywhere. Stretch out. Relax. Get more oxygen and blood flowing to your brain. Help it feel safe, and make it feel that it empathizes with itself.
Deep Belly Breath. Relax.
Many of my poems are designed to help your brain do this. Including my color choice for this website of the easy-on-the-eyes Colors of Blues. This greatly helps when developing more empathy, and stronger critical thinking.
Here is one of my favorite videos about empathy. It’s called “Why Empathy? It’s about a boy who is a member of the white supremacy group, the Klu Klux Klan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRduvwuM-VM
The following 👇🏼 is one of the very rare educational videos available. It helps us understand why we humans think and behave unempathetically with prejudices. At the beginning of this video clip is an explanation. It gets to the core of eg. racism, agesim, sexism, bullying, animal abuse, and wars.
The rest of this valuable video has more helpful insights.
Benefits of Fairness
Experience letting go of winning at any cost. This is one of the greatest of life’s lessons. It is invaluable on your death bed, if you’ll have one.
Most of us human animals aren’t aware of how much non-conscious death is influencing us all. Why is that? Our brains believe it will live forever. https://www.calcalistech.com/ctech/articles/0,7340,L-3773483,00.html#
Our brains naturally deny death, and feeling the dread of it. This is biological, and we fall for this dirty trick – and then play out unfair dirty tricks on other brains – as other self centered brains do to my brain and yours.
To help clarify, human brains are satisfied and relieved to watch movies, and play violent video games, where people die. These ‘entertainments’ reinforce the brain’s false belief it will live forever. Think Marvel Comic Super Heroes. 🦸 🦸🏻♀️ 🦸♂️ https://www.ernestbecker.org/the-denial-file/existentialism-and-death-denial-in-the-marvel-comics-and-cinematic-universe
A good question to ask next is, “Would you watch a movie and play a video game you know you will die in?”
What would happen if our brains were on 24/7 alert, constantly-in-our-face, knowing it will die?
If our death anxiety weren’t placed in a secret hiding place, we’d exist like constantly isolated, fleeing, heart pounding wild animals, often too paralyzed to move and unable to solve complex problems, like,
“Why do we humans freak each other out? And how do we stop doing this?”
It’s the naturally, biologically unfair thinking brains, encased inside skulls causing the social and personal problems.
My sincere question is, “How can this unfair brain solve itself fairly? The general foundation of my poems are often asking this, and are thought-provoking us all to help solve this mystery.
Benefits of Strong Critical Thinking
Experience “improving every aspect of your life”, is a quote from the 2012 book, “30 Days to Better Thinking and Better Living Through Critical Thinking”, by Linda Elder and Richard Paul. https://www.criticalthinking.org/store/products/30-days-to-better-thinking-and-better-living-with-critical-thinking/2
