Where did the self-soothing imaginary terms

”We put the pet to sleep” come from?
Why do we tell children when someone dies

“They went to sleep”?
Perhaps there is some truth to these creative words?
In the physical return to the soil’s cycle

of being awake and of sleeping –

are the buried

and cremated remains scattered over land’s and sea’s soils

– soils that are naturally recycling the dead’s remains

between

their action’s of digesting and their pause’s resting –

Perhaps the soil invented the term

“Rest in Peace” ?
We are after all what we eat and what we drink

and this may mean that we originated from

the dead’s decay that is resting in peace

with the sleeping and peaceful soils and

we are speaking soil’s language?
