It is clear

that every academic field is

rooted

in a human need

to deny and avoid death and death anxiety –

Failure in medicine results in death

Failure in economics results in dehydration and starvation leading to death

Failure in political science results in death through wars

Failure in psychology results in death by domestic violence

Failure in journalism results in death

when not reporting on behalf of strong critical thinking

that is full of intellectual fairness, ethics, empathy,

and humility
