Don’s Stalling

The stalling

is the death dreading

exemplified by Donald Trump’s brain

delaying the peaceful acceptance

of what it needs most

The prolonging

and ignoring

and in keeping score

The gnawing need

to be adored applauded

and be enthralling

are the gasping grasping panicking

real live common dying human brains

witnessed worldwide in the wrongs of authoritarianism’s

longing to be always and forever

unquestioned and unrepentantly

outlast and live forever

like vampires driven to do

and vote for

The perpetual & stable continuation of

a hero who will provide an intoxicatingly ample supply of blood

to feed off into eternity

is their brain’s Holy Longing
