When unfortunately
have found yourself
having been miserably taken
to a strange & quiet forest
with a crowd of loud & extroverted strange people
feeling even more unloved by who sent you there
refuse to unpack
refuse to introduce yourself
find and climb up an easy to climb and sit down tree
Remember to bring along your favorite book to read
When asked to –
refuse to go to the sing along next to the smokey and noisy camp fire
When forced to –
bring two bottles of water to the campfire and douse the flames
Be prepared for the scowls Who cares You’re almost there
Refuse to say you know how to swim
Refuse to join
anything
Hopefully you’re leaving that camp sooner
than expected –
sit quiet
on the drive home
looking forward to camping out
at the library instead
