Inside the taxi,

I confessed.

Then the inside of the cab began to glow.

I felt safe, and soothed, then blissed out

as I heard the driver saying,

”Your feelings are important, and

you’re not alone”.

”You are loved on your hardest days”.

I began sobbing

”You’re doing your best, and that’s enough and

I believe in your ability to get through this”.

I was the driver’s captive audience.

”In this short time we have together, we’ll get you through this.
I’m not going anywhere, we’ll work through this. I’m here for you,

no matter what”.

When we reached my destination,

”It’s okay to feel happy.

”You are safe and

will be

no matter what happens in your life’s journey”.
