Forbidding unforgiveness

is holding you back

and aged you, my love.

You’ve been lied to.

The dirty trick

of forgiving

is what is dragging you naked across gravel.

The goodness in openly forbidding abuse

is life giving

and attractive to

fair minded and empathetic survivors.
You will not be alone

among protesting Indigenous, Immigrants, Veterans,

– the betrayed, the gas lit, the lied to –

who know what it really means to Be Good.
