Poetry’s fragile flow.

Bring attention

to the weakest area

of poetry’s protection.

Vulnerable words of poetry

are easily strangled

punctured

crushed and drained.

The fragile

flow

between

the heart and brain

bleeds out

dries up

and is shut up,

when the strength of the courage of readers

gives out and gives up

and goes for a poem’s jugular.
