When words won’t work

how about a little hug,

or help someone feeling lost

and tired walk home? Or give up on speaking that dissertation,

-wait to continue after a nice long shower

and cheerfully humming.
Who really wants to listen to high school again, or to

allergic sneezing to learning new things, or to

being poked by a thin skinned finger in the ears, or to be

seeing another troll cobra in the short cut grass bending up, showing fangs and snapping. How well have these defenses gotten you thru life?
Who really wants to hear another comma and period

rejecting, shaming and blaming

-scapegoating

fascinating new ideas,

top-notch thrilling solutions – appearing boring – and yet that really work. Why be angry at others

over not having

been listened to enough?

Wouldn’t you avoid yourself, hearing yourself constantly complaining and defending?
Put up a mirror to your mouth and watch it in the privacy of a bathroom,

and BLAB BLAB ON AND ON.

Your gut will eventually become bored of the F-bombs.

Staring at your curled dry tight lips, snarling yellow teeth that need flossing,

they will become bored, and eventually grin and chuckle,

at how you were talk flushing,

non-stop talking,

an over flowing storm in a toilet in need of repair.
