safely cocooned swaddled bundled up

and lovingly tucked in,

listening to sweet lullabies-

when told bedtime stories

about global warming-

believing like children will,

it is just a fairy tale.
A Grimm’s Story being told and titled,

”The Rising Ocean”

is just a storyteller making up stories

to try and scare little children

-like them

to prompt them to be a hero heroically

”Doing the Right Things”.

But little children,

feeling entitled to be

pampered, coddled

and cooingly reassured-

that nothing bad will ever happen to them, ever,

lay back on their dry land, cozy dry couches,

delightful lounge chairs and beautiful beds,

inside temperature-controlled rooms,

and do absolutely nothing.
