the straps of your body and life

that hold you together.
Don’t let poverty, being a child, a young male, and an elder
loosen a firm and snug grip on your body.
Run your hands over your head face mouth neck chest legs,
check for damage.
Do what you can control.
Hang out, Store yourself,
in safer places.
