are gambled on in rooster fights,
set up to blood cut and claw
down views opposing theirs.
I almost bought a house next to a house with
dogmatic six to seven roosters,
loud shouting, scratching up my inner ears.
Running me off –

I bought a home
far from screaming
rooster neighbors,
and now live among open minded
quiet and calm.
