Paid to Be Positive

When asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

the boy brightly smiled, and looked up as he said,

`’I will be paid to be positive!”

When asked, “What is it that you do for a living?”

the man warmly shook both my hands and said,

”I am paid to live positively!”

And when asked, “How much do you charge?”

the woman’s instant reply kindly was,

”I charge by the hour I am positive!”

And the little girl answered strongly when asked,

”What kind of life will you live?”

—— “I already am living quite positively!”

Well, the boy grew up and did what he said,

and the man? He never retired.

And as for the grown-up now girl,

and the woman,

this is true and happy news.
It is because, they too, were paid well for being positive.
